The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer and there is a lovely bright bathroom, with views out across Chesil Beach.
The cottage is close to the bus stop, from which buses run to Weymouth centre every ten minutes. Also within easy reach are Portland Bill, Church Ope Cove, the Portland Sculpture Park and the Sailing Academy and Marina.
Castletown, with Portland Castle and diving centres are all only minutes drive or bus away.
Portland itself is positioned in a great place! Right in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, a heritage site of outstanding natural beauty, and yet, only a short trip away from Weymouth, Dorchester, Lyme Regis, Lullworth Cove, Durdle Door, Wareham, Poole and Bournemouth.!
You will also further information and leaflets in the cottage with details of local entertainment, such as Sea Life and Monkey World. When staying on Portland, you certainly will not be short of things to do and things to see!
